3 Keys Literary Agency is currently open to submissions. We welcome queries from both debut and established authors. Please carefully review the guidelines below before submitting your work.

We welcome queries from both debut and established authors. Please carefully review the guidelines below before submitting your work.
What We Represent
Fiction: Literary, commercial, romance, women’s fiction, mystery, thriller, science fiction, fantasy, YA, middle grade, picture books.
Nonfiction: Memoir, business, politics, health, wellness, cookbooks, sports, humor, pop science, psychology, culture, design, and lifestyle.
How to Submit
Query Letter
Introduce yourself and your book in one page.
Include your book’s title, genre, and word count.
Provide a short pitch or hook that captures the heart of your work.
Synopsis
1–2 pages, single-spaced.
Outline the full plot, including the ending.
Sample Pages
Fiction: First 10–15 double-spaced pages.
Nonfiction: Proposal + one sample chapter.
Children’s: Full manuscript for picture books; first 10 pages for longer works.
Format
Attach documents as Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF files.
Use standard fonts (Times New Roman or Arial, 12 pt).

We do our best to respond within 8–12 weeks. If you haven’t heard back after that time, feel free to follow up.
